C.S.I, anyone?
If you don't know what this show is about, you probably live under a rock. A television show that follows the sciences of finding a criminal, by looking for clues in evidence that can lead Grissom's team to finding out who the killer is.
The team of scientific researchers can find the evidence, fingerprints, hairs, and/or whatever trace of DNA they can find within a few hours, but that's not the case in reality. In can take hours, maybe even days to find out the information you need from a piece of the crime scene.
They can fit the plot of the story that would normally be a week, into a time span of an hour lnog episode. They make it seem like they can solve a crime that can't be solved for months, in the time span of an hour. That, my friend, is unrealistic.

ReplyDeletei like this alot. the last paragraph is awesome and captures the last element needed to prove it's really unrealistic.
ReplyDeleteYeah i agree with you to especially about the time span because that can' t really happen, solving a crime in an hour.
